Exploring Retail Capacity in Sedgemoor

Ekogen are consultants currently working on behald of Sedgemoor District Council to explore retail capacity across the district.  This exercise is based predominantly on review of previously prepared retail assessments to understand the challenges facing the district and potential opportunities for re-invigoration of the offer.

The survey covers three main area's

1. economic development of the area
2. the land strategy needed to support the economic development
3. the retail strategy

The report will be drafted through August and published in September

There will be a local consultation arranged with an opportunity for wider consulatation
