Ben Byford: Gaming, AI & Ethics

Throughout Ben’s career he has been passionate about Technology, Design and Ethics. Starting in Web design and development, Ben worked with companies creating sites, UI and UX projects. He’s an entrepreneur of several companies from a web platform for commissioning research, web design, games development, and a co-working space.In 2016 Ben started the Machine Ethics podcast that continues to run today, focused on AI and Ethics subjects. Ben is also a director of the Bristol games hub!

Ben splits his time between AI ethics consulting, games design and development with his company Nuclear Candy Games in Bristol, teaching and public speaking on subjects from games design to AI ethics, computing and social enterprise.
