Poolbridge Accountancy is owned and run by Caroline Mobley MBA FMAAT who has 30 years’ worth of experience working in practice and industry.

Caroline ran a practice near Cheddar for many years before moving into industry and heading the finance division for a group of international companies. She launched Poolbridge Accountancy in 2014 with her previous employer becoming her first and biggest client providing the same service as she managed as Finance Manager. Her team has a wealth of knowledge and experience, offering a wide range of accountancy services to businesses and individuals. Caroline is an active and well known member of Somerset Chamber of Commerce, Hinkley Point C Professional Services Group and Bridgwater Business over Breakfast Club. She also mentors in local schools and provides work experience places for students.

Hannah Hill ACCA BA (Hons) joined the Poolbridge team in August 2016. Prior to this Hannah worked for a UK200 Accountants based in Cheltenham where she completed her Chartered training and gained experience working with a wide range of business and accounting software.

Hannah was brought in to help expand the client base and increase the level of services we can provide. As well as this Hannah has been working hard installing procedures and practices within the firm. Hannah naturally gravitated towards developing and preparing the firm and clients in the area of ‘Making Tax Digital’ to ensure clients adjust to the new plans as well as adding value to the client’s business.

With Hannah now working alongside Caroline we have been able to expand the service offering to a higher level of tax planning such as Capital Gains Tax, R&D Tax Credit and Inheritance tax planning.

Hannah has been a business mentor to the Young Enterprise Company Programme at King Alfred’s School in Highbridge for the past two years, as well as actively attending Somerset chamber of commerce events and is a well known attendee at the Bridgwater Breakfast Club.
