MOD’s Admissions Links Cancer To Toxic Fumes

Tuesday 16th July, 2024

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) has acknowledged a link between cancer in pilots and navigators and exposure to toxic fumes from Puma and Chinook helicopters.

This opens the door for many to reassess their military pension entitlements and consider claims for compensation against the MOD.

Our Head of Personal Injury, Adrian Fawden shares his knowledge and expertise on the matter in his new blog which highlights:

  • Experience Matters: Our extensive experience with similar cases involving airline pilots highlights the importance of thorough investigation and expert medical opinions.
  • Legal Grounds: Proving fault against the MOD involves detailed investigation and expert evidence. We’re eager to discuss potential claims with those affected by toxic exposure during their service.
  • Time-Sensitive: Claims must be filed within a specific timeframe, so contact us at Pardoes Solicitors without delay for a free and confidential consultation.
  • Support for Armed Forces: As a proud signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant and a member of Forces Law, Pardoes Solicitors is committed to supporting all armed forces members and veterans.

An injured person only has a certain amount of time within which to bring a claim, Adrian Fawden is a highly experienced personal injury solicitor who takes on both private and no win no fee claims.
