Have you ever thought of getting a website and never quite got round to it, thought it too expensive or did not know where to start” The Bridgwater Chamber is focused on helping business in Sedgemoor and the Supply The Supplier Project enables us to offer Qualifying businesses a fully funded Design and build a website to help our local Sedgemoor business community to develop their digital presence.

What do you get?

Website design and build, email addresses with same web address

Who is eligible?

Sedgemoor based local sole traders and small businesses community

What do I have to do?

  • In order to take advantage of this offer your obligation is to meet with the web designer (Tuesdays only) for an hour or two to discuss the information and layout of your two/three-page website. 
  • You will provide your company logo if you have one.
  • Photographs which best showcase your business. 
  • Information for content that describes your business and its products or services, if you don’t have written content we will discuss this with you and take details during our initial appointment.

You will be consulted at every stage to ensure that you are happy with the design and content and given an opportunity to request any amendments during the process.  Once you are satisfied with your finished design.

Do I need a domain name?

If you already own or have registered a suitable domain or name for your website, we can use that otherwise a domain name will need to be registered for you which we can discuss on your initial appointment. for a .co.uk domain this would be £10+VAT

Where is it hosted?

The website will be hosted by one of our Chamber Board Members on their server. The company who will host your website are QSS IT, a local Bridgwater IT company.  They are offering 6 months free hosting and then only a nominal fee of £3.00+VAT per month after that.  If in the future you have any queries or concerns regarding your website once it has been completed, Qss IT will be able to support you going forward.
