Celebrating Accreditation whilst keeping Blueloop’s customers and suppliers safe

Thursday 10th June, 2021

We have some exciting news from Blueloop House (www.blueloop.net) – We are delighted to announce that we have gained Cyber Essentials Plus certification. Building upon our work securing Cyber Essentials and ISO27001, Blueloop were audited in May to the Cyber Essentials Plus standard and passed with no issues highlighted.

Cyber Essentials is the governments base security standard for organisations that use IT. This can be achieved with self-certification. Cyber Essentials Plus is the next step up and involves accredited 3rd party auditing of security best practice. Both Cyber Essentials standards demonstrate to organisations that appropriate security measures are in place and reassure customers and suppliers.

‘We are delighted that Blueloop has gained Cyber Essentials Plus certification. This further evidence that we have strong security procedures and technology in place to protect ourselves and our customers. It’s not the end of the road though, we have a commitment to continually improve and verify our security posture and we will continue to adapt to the ever-growing threat landscape.’ commented Robin Barker, Director, Blueloop Limited.

Cyber Essentials Plus is the second level of certification.  So, why should businesses obtain Cyber Essentials or Cyber Essentials Plus?

  1. Government and independent Contracts often mandate Cyber Essentials certification
  2. Assurance to customers that your organisation is working in a secure IT environment.
  3. Potential new businesses can have peace of mind that you have Cyber Security measures in place.
  4. Business owners have a clearer picture of their company’s Cyber Security level.

Why wait?

The process is relatively straight forward as there is a Cyber Essentials readiness toolkit.  Completion of the toolkit will create a personal action plan to help your progress towards Cyber Essentials requirements.
